Default HID Lights

Will an HID conversion kit work straight out of the box with lightning headlights?

Something like this

I'm using a 35 watt kit from vvme.com with lighting headlights. Works fine for me. Just make sure they are properly aimed after install

Yes, but I highly suggest you do NOT get a P'n'P kit. Scattered light everywhere, and you will blind oncoming drivers. If you want proper HIDs, get the lenses retrofitted.

Yes, lightning headlights are the same as stock lenses. As long as you choose the 9007 bulb, you are fine.
Edit: make sure they are aimed though. My old lightning headlights were pointed too far up and I got pulled over for it.

This is the very reason I removed my setup. It looked good and was bright, but I was cooking all eyes that was coming toward me. I aimed the heads down more and it helped, but it defeated the purpose of getting brighter lights.

This.

I hate all these "Plug-n-play" kits that do nothing but blind others.
I flash 2-3 vehicles a night with these stupid lights.
