I guess but I'd rather have a killer set of headlights and fog lights than have to have a bunch of extra lights to make up for not.

Like I said, its all about preference. We probably paid close to the same for what we have, so if I wanted to go the retro fit way, I would of.

Even if I did a retro fit, I would use a pair of Rigid D2 driving dually for the headlights. Something that someone hasn't done on this forum. When was the last time you saw a pair of rigid dually's in the fog lights???

Sorry it took me so long to finally get these pictures. I went out to test them out and I saw that I installed the bulbs themselves backwards. So it took me some time to take it all apart and then put it all back together correctly. Here is some pictures, and my conclusion follows them.

Normal headlighs and fog lights off

brights on

now for the conclusion. I think I may need to heighten my headlights a bit and that might improve my light output a little bit, but it doesn't affect what I'm about to say. Are they better than the HID refit's? I'd say no. HID's have the advantage of being projected right straight out while these have to reflect off the headlight itself. I would say they are much brighter than the OEM lights and some aftermarket halogens I've used. So bascially if you have the time and money, get the HID refit. If you wanna save some money and use an easier solution, but lose some light, get the LED's. Or stay with the crappy OEM bulbs. The choice is yours.

This is kind of what I was expecting to see. Great foreground light and side lighting is improved also, but low beam distance seems to take a hit vs halogen.
High beam seems to have a similar issue.

If you do mostly city driving with lots of street lights LED's would be fine, but lots of dark roads, not to sure about.

Thanks for posting pics.

They would make a great halogen alternative if it wasn't for the price. $150 is hard to swallow for light output less than HID.

That's where the safe part of my previous statement comes in. The glare from a cube is entirely too much to use as your sole headlights, and they still wouldn't put out as much as a set of projectors. There's a guy on here that tried a pair of cubes but they just weren't right for the job. There's also several guys on the Facebook page running a pair of cubes in the fog light holes.

As it sits right now, my OEM bumper lights are brighter than my headlights lol.

So the problem with the lights I am looking at is that they will leak and kill the LED's? How do you guys feel about this set? It looks like they are just the housing.

Alright, I think I'll get these. I pulled my stock headlights out of storage and one the bulbs broke so I need new bulbs. Is there any bulb you would recommend? I also need a new turn signal bulb. One of them is clear now lol.
