Default hey guys, need help

Got to school today and my buddy's dad is driving his POS honda and my buddy is driving the truck. Cuz his dad is always driving farther than my buddy. Anyway, my buddy doesnt know if its his just yet, but he's the one gonna be driving it this year at least. Its a 2000(i think) xlt 4x4 with the two tone green and silver on bottom. He wants to give it his touch. And he dont have much money to work with, so, im thinkig about selling him my toolbox and antennas so i can go get a smaller black one and a 5-6 ft. Firestick. Its got alot of surface rust underneath, so i told him for 30-50 bucks we could get it painted and make a world of difference. Also told him we should crank the t-bars a bit, but im not sure if it will need alignment or not, and i also told him about the gotts mod(he's got the 5.4) i also wanted to maybe cut the stock tailpipe up out of sight because its all rusty. This truck is by no means pretty. The 20/40 rule applies. It could use a major detail and some plastic restoration. His dad looks at the dents as added character. Its still a decent truck with potential. Just thought id get recommendations from you guys because i only know about my truck. Thanks alot.

What are his goals for it? Personally I find adding an aftermarket stereo is a nice way to add your own touch to it. A new head unit, some subs, and maybe some upgraded speakers perhaps.

he will need an alignment after he cranks the t-bars because the wheels will be sitting at an angle and it will wear the outsides of the tires down.

I don't think there's anything to say that it's a non stock truck like getting new wheels

Thats probably out of the question at the moment. Stuff im looking for is cheap, small touches. Maybe $250 at one time. I know of small stuff that really sets my body style off, but i dont know about these.

If it's rusty, maybe scuff of the silver paint and bedline the bottom of the truck.
