Here is my new to me 1999 F-150 with 91,000 miles. I have been detailing it all week. Only thing left to do is add the factory 4x4 decals on the bedside. I wet sanded those factory wheels and polished them since they were really bad. Looks and drives like a brand new truck!

I agree. Wish I could take mine off but there is too much paint sun fade and it will still show where the stickers were.

Clean truck! I wish I could get my wheels that clean. The only time they got that close is when my truck was in the body shop for a quarter panel. Idk what they did, but they cleaned my wheels up nice!

My 2000. Please tell us how you refinished the wheels. The clearcoat on my wheels is chemical stained.

I took each tire off the truck and set them on sawhorses. I grabbed the garden hose and wet sanded each wheel with 600 grit sandpaper. I let it completely dry then used a buffing wheel with some Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish. After that dries, wipe with a clean cloth. Then I waxed them with Mothers California Gold car wax. They look like brand new.

Looks Great! Have been thinking of sanding my wheels. Did you completely remove the clearcoat?
