The sides line up perfectly on the hood so I'm pretty positive its a grill issue. The front bumper is also different. Idk if the guy before me replaced the front end with parts from an escape or what. It's odd.
Not sure if the clips are there for billet. Haven't had a chance to get one yet and put in so can't help much there srry. Yep still need to take that off. The best way I found to take the plastic screw out is slid a flat screwdriver between the plastic washer and the plastic piece and lift as ya turn the plastic screw. Be gently those things strip out easy. Sounds like previous owner did some kind of front end work or swap. Might be able to work with it and get it all just right.

Okay. I'll give that a try and it seems like he did. Not sure how to fix it though. Sucks because it just ruins the look of the entire truck. He put a wind deflector on when I bought it so I didn't see it until I took it off.

Sand it out with 60 grit, then take Duplicolor shadow chrome to it
