Help with rough idle
Yes, that would cause a vacuum leak. You can get the vacuum connectors at Autozone. Also check the 2 vacuum canisters behind the battery box. The seams commonly split. Silicone will fix it. If you don't already have one, a SCT tuner is a fantastic upgrade. I bought mine from MPT with custom tunes to delete the EGR. You can purchase an EGR block off plate & exhaust cap to permanently remove it. Joel Charles (JCCustoms) on www.lightningrodder.com makes them. Good luck bud.
Seems like I'm surrounded by effing idiots. Can't find a PCV elbow ANYWHERE except the dealer and they want $50. And that evap line is 75 at the dealer I will have to order from Amazon for 48. For now I used a 3/8 fuel line as a bandaid till the new one arrives.
Where are you guys finding the rear PCV elbow?

I had a similar problem about two yrs ago. I replaced all the vacuum hoses in the pcv area with 3/8 fuel hose and left it like that. It worked good. The fuel hose fit good where it needed to..on the pcv valve, the tee, and where it connects behind the throttle body. Had no more problems with it...until now. Its not the same as before. Now I have the exact same problem as drillrig. Only does it when its cold. Throws P0455 that will go away after about a week of warm days and will come right back along with the lopey idle if I start it up on a cool morning. Cannot find any vacuum leaks or anything. But the problem usually goes away before I really get a chance to look really good for it. Hope we find a solution.
