Those are definitely NOT OEM plugs, they are JUNK Splitfires. Replace with OEM motorcraft (can be bought at Autozone for not much more than Autolites) or I like the NGK PLatinums, very nice plug and great price.

Default Fuel Rail on 5.4

Hey Garbill, I have a bad #7 COP (3rd down on drivers side). I ordered it and will be replacing it myself. I took a look at the position of it and see the fuel rail right above it. Can I get this cop out without having to remove the fuel rail? Looks like the fuel rail is mounted with 2 bolts? If it is only two bolts and will make my life easier maybe I should just remove the fuel rail to replace the COP? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I would pull the rail, yes its only two bolts and makes life much easier on the drivers side! You can do all 4 on the pass side w/o removing it but its a must on the drivers.

You don't have to remove the fuel rail it would
Make it easier and yes only two bolts hold it on you do get some fuel dripping all over lol engine should be cool if you do

Actually, I think they are. Im not sure they are the correct ones but they are MotorCraft plugs.

This is very helpful and well written otto457. I feel confident enough to tackle this job on Saturday. I'll follow up on how it goes. Thanks again!
