Default help raising the mpg

ive got a 99 f150 4.2l v6 i want to know some ideas on what to do to raise my mpg.... i want to upgrade my intake what would be best for mpg

replace fuel oil and air filters, spark plugs, take your foot out of the carberator

hahah i kno i was makin a funny. i forgot my "lol". air intakes help mpgs but they give the engine more power and once you realize it you like to show it off and dont really see any mpg gains.

dont get a throttle body spacer. they dont work

a chip/programmer may help but idk of any good ones for a v6

other than that gas mileage is mainly driving habits

I recommend a intake with a 5.4 under it.

I dont think writing "5.4" with a sharpie on the bottom of the intake will help fuel mileage at all, maybe hp, but not mileage
My intake, i just did the gotts mod, but im just cheap like that

My 4.2 gets 21-22 mpgs. I did gotts mod, that's it.
