What switch did you replace? The fan control switch or the blower motor resister.

What about the resistor coil bd ? If only high works, usually the low & med resistor coils failed.

You hit it on the nose If either the medium or low resistor goes out it takes them all out and leaves you with only high speed. I replaced one of these in my 4Runner and it was 60 or 80 dollars and a pain in the to get to.

I had the same blower problem on my 97 supercab. I believe it was called fan blower resistor. I lost low then a year later I lost medium. Couldn't stand it on high only. Picked one up from the Ford Dealer for about $21.00. On the 97 it's located under the dash below the glove box, next to the fan blower which is a single speed motor. It has three little coils on it, mine burned through from moisture. It's real easy to replace about 10 minutes and screw driver.
Good Luck

I'll give that a try and let everyone know how it works out.

It's called a fan blower resistor, it's on a fiber board about 1 1/2 inches by about 2 inches or so.
