Default Help needed!

Ok so first post on here. I was given a 2001 F 150 and the second time I drive it the check engine light comes on and I got P1151 coming up. So I’ve looked at what I can via YouTube and the net, but I was wondering what you guys think is the best place to start with everything.

I would consider the condition of the vehicle, the history, and the number of miles. Those will be big clues. You're not offering much info. 2001, drove it twice...?

That one is most likley the sensor itself.

Check the 02 harness/connector first tho.

If the wiring checks out, don't buy some Amazon chinese knock-off sensor. O2 sensors are not something you go cheap on. Motorcraft is best here... NTK's are great too.

ya I was the second time I drove it when the check engine light came on. It’s got 215K on it and the body is sound and everything seems to be ok other than that. Other than the normal wear and tear (dash lights, back window leaking, speakers cutting in and out, etc)

Most back window leaks are actually a failed weather proof gasket for the third brake light.

Not necessarily. There are a very large portion of 10th gens that have a failed seal around the window glass.

Ok replaced the sensor, cleared the code and then the code came back. I’m thinking vacuum leak maybe?
