Well I grinded off old bumper mounts that were welded to frame! I was hoping someone could give me measure to as to how far back the plates sit from front off frame and how high the holes are from the top edge of frame! I got bolt on not weld on! And the also seem they are a bit wide for the frame should I evenly space then with washers? Are the at a right angle to the frame? Dumb me made a templet but that for stock oem not aftermarket!
Hahaa man you shoulda measured the old locations. I had no idea they made these I tried straightening one of my old ones with a torch and a sledgehammer. Didn't work out too well lol
I'm not sure our measurements would work or be trustworthy to your needs.
How about bolting it to your bumper, hang it where you want, make minute adjustments, then tack it in place?
All I need to know is how far back the plate sits back from edge of frame and how high the bottom edge of the first mounting hole is off the top of the frame! There is two inches of side to side and up and down adjustment. I'd really appreciate it if some could run outside with a tape measure!!
When I got the truck the brackets were bent broken smashed and half torn off I couldn't get measurements the pass side was the closest one to being ok so I templated those mounting legs

All I need is how far back the bracket is welded from front of frame and where the bottom of the lowest hole is then I can do what u said just so I have a starting point. Pretty please

There are a couple of things about your question that confuse at least me anyways. You maybe should start with this:
Where is the bumper bracket installed on the Ford F-150?Answer: That depends on the kind of the bumper bracket. It also stated "bolt holes vary."
Add to this that not all 97-03 150 bumper brackets are created equal I don't think anyone can really help with the info you've given. A good place to start would be year and model of your truck. Bear in mind also that driver and passenger sides are not the same.
Some here may be thinking that offering no information is better then offering bad information. Also, what is it about the advice to mount everything to the bumper and locate the bumper from there? Seems to be good, pragmatic advice. Why does that not work for you?

They are the l shaped brackets welded to the frame I just wanted to know how far back they sit from the front edge of the frame and how high the first bolt hole was from the top edge of frame ford would have a jig slap the bracket and weld it right in place the replacements bolt in and I forgot to measure the factory would hold the whole bumper all bolted up and try to mark would be very hard by myself the bracket are all in same location they have side to side adjustments and the other bracket that bolts to the chrome have vertical adjustments just wanted a simple measurement! 1999 f 150 xlt 2x4
