I had a local friend of mine suggest I run 33x12.50 tires on a 16.5x12 wheel, what do yall think about that? Or do you have any other recommendations?

Why a 16.5 wheel? That's old school and mostly used on 3/4 and 1 tons if I remember correctly. I'd go with either 16 or 17 inch wheels and have more choice in wheels and tires

He's a diesel guy but had a regular cab 2000 F150 that he ran that setup on with a 3 inch body lift. It looked good. I was just looking around on this forum and saw someone say that a 33x12.50 would be better on a 16x10 wheel.

If so I'm really liking (played out I know) these:

Do you know how a 33x12.50 tire will fit on that 16x10 wheel I posted?

If not, I could always get that wheel in a size to fit my stock sized 31s but I'm not sure what the wheel spec is on my sotckers.

33x12.50 will fit on a 10" wide wheel no problem. I had 12.50 on stock wheels which are 8" for my year I believe

Thanks bud. What are the OEM specs for my 2000 F150 wheels? I am thinking about just getting the wheels in the OEM size and throwing them on so I don't have to worry about a lift.

Yea not too far, usually the closest I get to Mooresville is Gander Mountain, I havent even been to the strip this year.

& I believe our stock wheels are 7.5" wide
