Hey yall, I've been getting bored with my truck and instead of selling it since it's paid off I was thinking of stuff I can do make it more enjoyable.

Info:
- 2000 F150
- 5.4L V8
- 4x4
- XLT
- Tow Package
- 100k miles

Old Pictures:

Current mods/changes:
- Weather Tech mats (front/back)
- Rain-X Wiper blades
- Gotts Mod
- Repainted grille black
- Ford steering wheel cover

Things I'm considering:
So the plans for the F150 include:
- Eagle Alloy Type 058 Wheels (still figuring out the size)
- Magnaflow exhaust
- Edge Tuner
- Lights behind the grille mod
- Lightning headlights with retrofit projector setup
- Tint
- LED tail lights
- LED interior lights
- High flow air filter

I know my mods/changes are all very basic and nothing special so there's a lot of potential. I'm pretty happy with the height for now since it's my daily driver. Let me know what yall think. I'll update the list if I notice I have forgotten anything.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Thats a nice lookin truck and having it paid off is a real treat that you can take to the bank every week. I would first make sure you have all the maintenance up to date including changing all fluids, inspecting and replacing all worn and old belts and hoses, brakes in good shape, ball joints and tie rod ends in good shape, spark plugs, air filter, exhaust.

You can find a lot of tail lights, head lights, and side step rails on ebay at great prices to add a little zip to the look. New wheels and tires are nice also; just get something you like with a premium set of tires. Last; get you a nice looking women for the passenger seat, get married, and kids in the back.

P-Kidd, thanks for the feedback. I have previously looked into a sound system but just haven't had the drive to invest in it. I know the factory sound system isn't the best but it works right now. Although an in-dash with nav is really hard to not want, haha. I'll check prices again to see if things are coming down.

Frank_Ford, thanks for the reply! Yeah, having debt isn't something I enjoy esp with gas pricing being what they are and this truck isn't fun at the pump. Since it just clicked 100k recently I am going to be taking it up to my shop to have it looked over but it shouldn't need much. I take care of it pretty well. I was looking at some Recon LED tail lights but I'm not 100% sure if I like them or not. I do know that if I change them they will be to LEDs. My current headlights are a lot cleaner than in that picture above. That picture was taken right after we finished repainting the front grille black. It was a sandy color before which I couldn't stand. The headlights were since sanded and buffed to get rid of the haze. But like I posted I would most likely upgrade and build a retrofit projector setup. I did a build for my '95 Cobra and they turned out amazing. As for the last part, I am blessed to say I have a beautiful wife who is God's perfect match for me and a house to come home to. Kids aren't apart of the picture just yet but in due time.

One of the things I know I would like to do (as listed above) is change the exhaust but aside from vendors like Summit, where do yall go to order parts?

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback.

I think a nice set of black/chrome wheels would totally change the look of it.

As for exhaust just take it to a local exhaust shop and they can bend flare and weld whatever setup you want. Pretty much anything will sound good but I love my straight pipes

2000MTZ, thanks for the reply. Do you have any recommendations on a specific wheel? I'll start looking tonight. As for the exhaust I don't want something that's going to be insanely loud. I'm not a fan of straight pipes but that's my preference.

Thanks!

well.. your truck looked black on the app, but now it looks blue. Check out tirerack.com you can find wheels you like on there. And on these trucks with 4 cats, straight pipes arent loud at all

200MTZ, yeah the truck is dark blue. I just was actually on TireRack and found the KMC XD Spy wheels in a black/chrome mix like you mentioned. Ok, I will look into the straight pipes option.

Do an e-fan swap it helps a little with hp and mpg and is reasonably cheap.
