Procedure is to release the pressure at the schraeder valve on the fuel rail. Schraeder valve looks like a tire valve, push on the center, and pressure will release as fuel sprays all over. Trans is right with the tool needed. Its a garter spring, you know what a garter is, that little colored fluffy thing around a brides good looking leg that they take off and throw over their back to the next generation of good looking legs. Sorry, got side tracked. Need to expand this spring to go over the expanded bead on the filter. There is a less expensive tool for this job then shown by trans, its by KD Tools. Its just for the filter and not a whole assortment as is used by the auto techs. Hope this helps.
