Default HELP with Edge Programmer

Hi I just got the edge evolution power programmer for my 02 f150 with the 5.4l engine for christmas. I installed it today and did the first level load and all went well saying the load succesful. when I went to start my truck it just kept cranking and wouldnt fire and the error code 150 "PCM not responding popped up". Ive tried unplugging the negative terminal and nothing seems to do anything. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Have you checked your battery? While I was installing my HID's my programmer said the same code, after the battery was hooked back up it was good.

You either misread something or batteries voltage is low.....

I'd try pulling your OBDII port fuse and re-installing it. It should read your HEX code and follow the directions....

My battery is definitely weak. I had to jump it to get it to turn over but it just cranks and doesnt fire. A weak battery can cause that error code and make it so the truck wont start?

Well the programmer takes power even when its not turned on. Thats how it stores your settings. If the battery is so low that the PCM doesnt get an input then yes it will cause that code.
