I agree with that, Im having the same problem. I'm looking at getting some side bars and am leaning towards the chrome but cant decide between that or black as well

Well I just kinda thought about it a little more and unless you already have like a chrome package like handles and trim I dont think the chrome will go good. And I like small chrome, bumpers and wheels but big stuff like step bars and brush gards and stuff just dont look good to me.

I agree, with that tan, the black would go much better IMO.

I have the white and tan and i like chrome (stainless), Is your truck black or dark blue? Ebay is always a good place to start for ball park pricing a new stainless bullguard with skidguard starts about 220.oo shipped, One thing to remember about the black is that in my experience it has always rusted faster so more maint on upkeep.

Well it may be ok like I said if he had chrome mirrors, fender flares, tool box, and door handles like yours. Maybe its just a bad angle but that looks like a smoke grey

+1

Reading the comments on the rust...

I'd prefer rust on black rather than on chrome... black you can fix ala spray can. Chrome rust like on my rear bumper? New bumper/re-dip.

Thanks

Ya I hate the chrome bumper on mine. It's starting to get bubbles and they pop and rust.

My dad has the black nerf bars on his, Hes been trying to get me to take them off and sand blast them so they are pretty easy to fix.
