Thing is, they don't make vise grips as big as pipe wrenches.

I just did this job myself in January. I soaked mine with Kroil, and luckily it came loose pretty easily. If you've got some Kroil or PB Blaster, it may be to your benefit. It also looks like your bolt is removed from the frame. That may help to have that still attached.

This would be why I replaced it.

This was the old. I will take a couple pics of the new one in the morning! Thanks everyone for the help! After completing I feel safe saying that is has been bad the hole time I've had the truck. It stops on a dime now lol

Ouch! Mine just fell right apart when I was changing the pads. I couldn't believe it didn't blow while I was driving it.

Should have bought a lottery ticket. That's some serious good luck.

Yea man that's the same with me. Got the pads changed on both sides and everything back together, got in the truck to compress the pistions in the calipers and my wife says. "Honey, I think there is something wrong. There is fluid pouring out like crazy over here." And when I hit he brakes a second time the peddle sunk. The drivers side is getting close so have already started soaking it in pb blaster lol

Since he never corrected his bogus statement (Hell,I pointed this out as well), I bet that's all he used doing brake lines at one time. Until he got his self a pair vise grips.

Vise grips will bend break and bust apart attempting to do a pipe wrenches job. They don't even compete.
