This was my original question. What was the difference between two amps? lol.....it is not my fault this got so technical.
Oh well I set him up with a little car and a decent radio/system. He now has to pay insurance and up keep. If he blows speakers/amp he has to replace it. lol. He could upgrade later if he wants.

I'm giving Audiobahn a try in my truck. Never owned any of their stuff before.

I have an MA Audio DVC 10 running off an Orion Cobalt amp in my Mustang that I like quite a bit.

I did not know that. I wonder why Amazon is still selling my sub then if they're out of business? It says it was first available in June of 2015.
