Hell! I am new to this forum n i am seeking some help! Im stuck! .. I have a 1999 ford f150 with 130,000 miles.. Today it left me stranded ... Wouldnt start.. I turn the key and absolutely nothing would happen! Besides my interior lights and radio going off .. I had my dad bring me a battery load tester.. Came up good! Tried to jump it anyway incase the tester was bad.. Still nothing! ... I ended up getting a screw driver and touching both leads on the starter while he turned the ignition key.. Fired right up! Drove it home n it still wont start normally! Any ideas????

 

My mom's 01 did something similar. Do you have access to another battery to put in it without spending too much? Hers was a battery and acted almost possessed. It started locking the doors and all kinda of weird stuff. If you have it available grab a battery from a different vehicle and try swapping them
