Default Help

I have a 97 F150. Today I was driving at hiway speed and merged off hiway to turn. This truck is a manual trans, When I went to go I had no gears. I coasted to a stop. tried all gears had none. tried 4 hi and 4 low, thought perhaps I had bumped the shifter. Now I am able to drive but in low gear only and It appears NOT in 4wd.

As stated 5speed manual, manual transfer case. Truck was NOT in 4wd.

Also seems I hear a slight clicking/grinding in right front quadrant when I accelerate.

I'm guessing here, check the linkage on the transfercase ans see if it is loose/disconected. Could have dropped a shift link. Like I said I'm guessing but it is a starting point.
