Heater issues
Hey guys ! I have a 2001 F150 4x4 with a 5.4 . The heater is not working correctly. It only provides a minimal amount of heat thru the vents on low fan . The other positions don't work at all . Floor, defrost, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

James- dont quote me on this, because ive never been into one, but there is blend door actuator, i believe its down low behind the cover that sets between the bottom of the dash and the transmission hump- i remember something about it from a youtube video on the heater core
Im sure someone whos actually been into one will be more enlightening!- or try to find a youtube video- sorry i couldnt be of more help, but it might give you a start.

Replaced heater blend door and motor . The blend door was not broken however . Just went ahead and changed it out . Still no heat . Is there anything on the engine side of the firewall that may be causing this ? Relay or something . I can put my hand over the heater core from inside the box that I cut open and its still cold at operating temperature. Any ideas ?
Thanks
Thanks
James- again,i havent had to do many repairs on our generation trucks(thats a good thing)- some of my old Fords had a vacuum operated valve in one of the heater hoses to control flow.
Failing that, check your thermostat- make sure your engine is coming up to temp.
