Default Heater core replacement ?

Had heater core replaced in my 2001 super crew and ever since truck makes a bubbling or gurgling sound under the dash not leaking any coolant heater works perfect any ideas? Once truck warms up seems to quit.

Find a hill to pull up on pull the cap off your reservoir and let it get to operating temp to burp the system.

Default Heater core replacement ?

Mine does the same thing. I drove the front up one a lift and got it as high as I felt comfortable maybe 6-8 inches up. I let it run with an exhaust tube leading out of the shop for a good 30-45 min and it just made it happen sooner in the rpm range. May have to fill it with a special tool that draws a vacuum and gets all the air out then sucks up coolant from the drain plug with a hose leading to a bucket.

Could I pull it up on some Ramps and let it run to operating temp with top off reservoir?

I burped mine by normal driving over the course of three days with the reservoir cap very loose. Check antifreeze level every day and top off if necessary.

Jennifer, you need to let the air out.

Does anyone know if the 2001 f150 5.4 have a bleeder valve for coolant to let air out or better off to elevate front and take cap off reservoir

There is no bleeder valve but the ramp idea should work. I like the loose cap idea too.
