My headliner is falling in I tried spraying 3m trim adhesive on there to fix it but that only lasted a day anyone have any ideas

 

Mine was doing the same thing, so I ended up pulling it out, I called a headliner shop that would cover it for only 40.00 with a 5 year warrerty. It would have been 100.00 if the shop had removed & replaced it in the truck.....so I saved 60.00 by doing it myself which only took a few minutes....

I had a Grand Cherokee for a while and the liner fell on it. I pulled the fabric off used a wire brush to remove the foam and spray painted the same color as the interior. Very utilitarian and no one ever noticed it wasn't fabric.

 

So take off the foam completely or just kinda texturize it

 

Just scrubbed it all off wiped it with some thinner and just painted what was left. Jeep was a little noisier but it cost me $3.

 

what the headliner made of in the trucks im about to redo mine this weekend and i was looking for a way to get the foam off.
