Default Headlight question

So my brother is giving me his HID kit and said there style 9007, is that the correct bulb or whatever to fit my 97. Thanks.

Yes 9007 is correct, both high and low beam on the same bulb.

yeah thats the right size but i think with HID's you need to make sure the brand or type you get have the high and low beam in bulb (its still one bulb). some HID sets only give you the low beam in it

Well the ones he is giving me are only low beam, will that work?

Yes they will work, but you will only have low beam. Some say thats enough with the HID's as they are so bright anyway. They also say that the 6K are recommended over the 8K. Not sure though as I still have standard lights.

Well sweet, they are 6000k and yea i think they are plenty bright enough.
