Default Headlight question

I went out and tried to adjust my headlights, I turn the 3 little screw things (mainly the top one where there are 2) and not a hole lot happens. I then start to ponder what could be going on giving a slight shake to the headlight and it wiggled really bad. Just by putting a little pressure on the headlights I can aim my lights above the street signs or below the mail boxes. From what I can see they are just secured by the three pins that the two clips under the hood go down on. It is too late right now to take the lights out and see what is going on in there and try to re-align them to put them in again. I am pretty sure it is just those clips holding them in though. Is there anything else that should be holding them in?

I'll look up some videos when I get a little time, but there is a ton of work right now, thank god I don't have to drive at night but I just don't have a lot of time to deal with these issues lol.

Nope, just pull up on the two clips and the headlight comes out.

You have to leave the clips in and only adjust the actual stud by screwing the stud in or out using a very small socket or wrench.

That's what I'm doing, both tabs are fully down and I'm using a pair of pliers to adjust the stud because I don't have the proper tools lol. I'll probably upload a video in the morning.

Either those clips arent in the proper spots holding the lights or something is broken.

The plastic slide on the guides behind the light assembly must be broken, it happened to me before.

Issue found and fixed. At the back of the stud there is a little ball and socket system with a guide on them, and on top and bottom of the hole that the studs go through there is a + looking thing that this guide goes into. My guides weren't on that little thing so the ball and socket system was allowed to move freely.

At least they weren't broken.
