headers or manifolds???

I just read your post again and realized I read it wrong the first time. My bad. Yeah you can get normal headers ceramic coated but I don't know where or if it would be as good. Peace.

Buy the Ceramic headers already coated. ITs cheaper than having them coated after you buy them.

could you just get normal, non coated headers, and wrap them in heat tape?

You can but it dosen't look as good...I still think with the cost of header wrap and the extra time it takes to wrap it that ceramic coated is the way to go.

I made up my mind...I am going to get headers and install them up side down ...cut two holes in the hood and shoot the headers up threw the hood ..this should be all around a little louder...lol...lol.....just kiddin...thanks for the info guys I think I will price the ceramic coated headers this week..Calvin

i kno its a lil off topic but i bougth ceramic coated long tubes for the mustang and the starter is failing due to th e heat so now i have to wrap them and get a mini starter

you are not off topic .we are talking about putting headers on a ford..you do not have them on a f150 but still a FORD if you were talking about a SHOVIE(chevy)I would of been upset.....lol.....thanks man.

ya just buy the starter wrap when u get the headers. that will help with the heat for the starter.

yeah no long tubes on the f150 yeah it will have them once i do the 351 swap to it tho
