Default Headers and cam swap????

Just wondering what you guys are running for headers or what you would suggest for headers and same for a cam swap. For a cam swap I'd like some that would give me torque. Thanks guys.

Im about to throw on some gibson headers, I have read a lot of positive feedback on gibson and JBA headers, that is if your looking for shorties, I havent really read up on long tube just cause I cant use em on my truck

I was looking along the lines of long tubes, more for torque reasons. With a 4x4 I'd like to gain the extra torque.

i may be wrong here but i thought shorties gave you more torque and full tubes gave more hp? i just installed pace setter shorties and h-pipe with full duals

If I'm not mistaken I believe the shorties aren't much better than factory and long tubes will help ya gain some torque?

long tubes are much better than shorties in both hp and torque, but because they delete the cats they are not smog legal (I know california for sure and i think most other states as well). Shorties give roughly 7 hp

depending on the brand you get shorties can cost as much if not more than long tubes i know the gibson ceramic coated ones are about 750 and the jba shorties are about the same
