Thanks to this forum, I was able to trace a noise on my truck down to an exhaust leak at the headers. I purchased a set of dynatech headers and some midpipes and I'm waiting for them to get here.
In the meantime I want to start taking the old headers out.
I'm having some issues with the company I bought the new headers from and I'm not sure when they get here.
Can I go ahead and take off the old headers and midpipes? My truck will be sitting outside until the new ones get here and I live in the northeast so snow is always a possibility. Will I be okay if I take off the headers and put a tarp over the engine compartment or is that not a good idea?
Also does anyone here work at or know someone who works at AmericanMuscle.com that can find my order because their customer support seems clueless.
