Default Header experience

Hey guys! New to headers, (found out my manifolds are cracked)and wonder if anyone has had experience with these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RACING-SS-MA...8d85c2&vxp=mtr
They claim to be "bolt on" which i would assume to mean no modification right? Just puttin my feelers out to see if anyone has used these or ones like it...

This wont tell you exactly how the ebay ones you have chosen perform, but this will give you an idea of what to look for. It'll also give you a better understanding of how headers work.

Shorty headers on these trucks are pointless. They do not add power or torque. Stock manifolds are capable of flowing enough to support a 500hp engine.

just put on pacesetter shorties on my 4.6 and sound is incredible and you can feel the difference in power. so i'd have to disagree with shorties being pointless. just my two cents

Thanks so much for the input guys. I am not really looking for power gains, though it wouldn't be horrible. I am looking for a cost effective repair and dress up the engine bay a bit. Also I was hoping to NOT have to do anything with my existing exhaust, plus our manifolds apparently are prone to failure.

Been dyno proven several times. They add no power. They just move power down in the power range. The restriction the hinders power the most are the cats.

Are you gonna be running high flow cats with your new exhaust setup?

Yes I will have cats, I am looking for direct replacement for my cracked manifolds. Right now, I am bone stock minus a glasspack in place of the muffler.
How do you run no cats and not throw the check engine light?
