Default hardwire radar detector

I'm trying to hardwire my radar detector and I have no owners manual. Just wondering which fuse is the radio fuse to a 1997 f150 4.6

I got this. I even have all the books.
Fuse position 6
Amps -15 (mini)
Circuits Protected: Radio, Premium Sound Amplifier, CD Changer.
And the picture says its in the bottom left hand corner, up 3, in 2.

All I did was hook it in with my radio ground wire and ignition wire so it turns on and off with my truck

I asked awhile back and received no answers.

I purchased an "add a fuse" and plugged it into the #8 fuse with the gem, radio, remote entry. It is powered when the truck is on. Ground it to the screw holding on the fuse box.

What fuse number is that? I'd really like to get mine off the same circuit as the GEM.

Just a tip for everyone when wiring to the fuse box. Get a 12 volt circuit tester and ground it to some metal, then turn the key forward and test the fuses for which one is key hot or without the key forward for always on. Then just get a fuse tap and wire in whatever you got. As long as the fuse your using is enough amps to power the new stuff plus whatever it powers originally, you should be fine.
I know for some people, this will be redundant, but for people who don't know much about wiring to the fuse box..hope this helps!
