Its cool, man. H-bar grills are the design that is in the before pic of my truck. They came in silver or black, I believe. HC is short for Honeycomb. I'm just too lazy to type it. Expy, or expedition grill is the grill i have in my truck in the after pic. Like the HC grille, but it has box style holes instead of Honeycomb style.

Ahhh thanks for clearing that up lol. So if I find a 99 f150 or a 99 expedition. Both should fit right? If I change the whole thing out?

Yes, but an expy grill I know for certain will not fit flush, though it does attach to every clip and is fine. Its secure enough where you're not going to have to worry about it flying off. As I said earlier, if you have no luck at the yards, let me know. The insert in the pic is the one I will be selling. I bought a whole new surround and insert, and I don't need 2.

Talking I swapped mine last weekend

I swapped my H-Bar grill insert out for a Honeycomb one last weekend . It was a little pain in the butt , but all in all it only took about 2 hours . My truck came with a Brush Guard/Cattle Catcher on it , not my ( or the daughters) style , so off it came . I knew i would have to pull the whole grill surround to get to the top bolts . So i waited until I found a Honeycomb Grill to install at the same time .

I found a good deal on ebay and jumped on it . It was next to impossible to only find the grill insert , most sellers only had the grill and the surround as one part number .

Part Numbers I found (google them)
3L3Z8200BA
F070103

There were a couple of others , but I have lost them . Good Luck..

Here are two with the Cattle Catcher and the H-Bars ...

Before ;

After ;

I digg the way it looks now. Pardon the crappy IPhone pictures , I just ran out and snapped them now .
