I got a 98f150 xlt 2wd with 6" fabtech lift and i was wondering if its possible to put a 99-03 grill on my truck preferably the lightning grill. The fenders and the hood are the same 97-03 just the grill and bumper are different 97-98. Is this possible?

 

its possible, you just have to buy the whole bezel and grill. the bumper also has a different shape

 

I knew i would have to buy a bumper..but i was probably just gunna get a prerunner bumper fabbed..so the bezel wouldnt be problem fitting up i know that 03-06 chevy half tons often change 03-05 to 06 grill bezels. Since 97-03's have same fenders,hoods, and lights..why couldnt i? just making sure i dont spend money on something that wouldnt work

 

yeah should work fine, I dont believe they changed and of the mounting and clip points

 

ya thats also what im trying to find out if the mounting points are different even though it wouldnt be hard to just make some

 

The mounting points and clips are the same. You can interchange these parts.

 

ok good thats all i needed to know besides ebay any good places to look for grill bezels and bumpers?
