Ok so i bought a rear window from craigslist last week. Only now i had a chance to take a good look at it and clean it up. Anyways, while i was cleaning it i felt like sand on it. Its hard to come off. Then after a further inspection i found that it was metal. I guess the guy who sold it to me welded near the window and the slag splashed on the window. Is there anyway of removing it from the window?

 

if it's burned, you cannot do anything to it... you'll always see the burns no matter how much you clean it... those parts are bolted and glued in, and they are expensive...
