Default GF Peformance Chip?

So I was looking into getting a edge or something. Then I came across this, it says it goes in the engine bay..so do you just need this, or would I also have to buy a edge or whatever? It also says up to 7mpg and 60hp...but I don't know about that, AND MSRP $400 but its selling for $70..is this real?

What do you think?

Of course it works. Ford engineers are just stupid and to cheap to put in a chip that improves milage and gives it way more power. It would make ford the undisputed leader in power and fuel milage by a mile. lol If you plan on getting a tuner be warned they aren't that great unless you get one that you can get custom tunes for. Power Hungry Performance is probally the best. Then you can get a tune that works and can get custom tunes for future upgrades like a supercharger. I have a edge and the mpg increase in minamal and not worth the cost of the thing imho. Most of the performance people believe they get is from the thing makeing the transmission shift better. They claim up to 15 hp if you run the good gas. Doubt you get 10 hp and not worth the extra gas price. If I get another I get one from PHP. Consider buying a used one from ebay and if you don't like it sell it and get your money back.

These chips always make me wonder but I can't see how something that plugs into a sensor will do what they say. jmo

No. It's complete BS. Its just a 10 cent resistor chip packaged pretty. Absolutely worthless. There is a reason all good tuners run $275 to $400 new.

And no tuner standalone will add 60 HP.

I've used SCT tuners for years personally and like them a lot.
