About two weeks ago I had my new tires installed, 285/70/17 BFGs. The next Monday I was pissed because one of the tires wasn't holding air. So I took it back to the installer and found out that one of the rims had a crack in it, as a result of my blowout about two months ago. So I convinced the wife to let me buy the rims that I wanted instead of just a replacement. Getting them installed in about an hour...pics to come. BTW the rims are Dick Cepek DC-2s, 17x9.

i know what i would be doing today....

i'd be taking my wife out to dinner, just to show off the truck(and not talk about it) but thank her for being an understanding wife....

it wouldn't take much for the average guy to be able to explain to his wife that 4 new rims, would be better to upgrade now, than after you(and her) spend the few $$$ on a new stock rim, which won't ever truly match up on shine due to age.

makes me want to wreck a rim just to do it too. lol
