Anyone ever completely bypassed the gem module?

I feel you do not know what the GEM is and all the circuits it controls.

No I do every electronic luxury goes thru the thing I'm just wondering if someone has sat down an actually done away with it

Well I've Goin through 2 of em an 309$ every time is getting old I've got a new windshield ( no leak there) an new weather stripping I'm tired of spending the money on that it gets old as hell

If you have went through two in one year... You need to fix your water leak, Check the fuse box for damange too, and when you put it back together build some type of cover.

You can also get cheap new GEM modules on rock auto.

I bought mine from a junk yard... I called and told them i needed a fuse box.. And they cut me one out. Don't tell them you want a GEM module... Just tell them you need a fuse box, They will probably give you a fuse box and gem module... If you tell them you need the gem they will probably sell you them seperatly.
