How much would it cost to switch from 3:55 to 4:10?

At a shop, that bare bones. If you want fully rebuilt front and rear with locker, closer to $4000

I wanted to go to 4.56 so I called randy's offroad and they wanted 2600 bucks. Nah, not worth it for me.

I paid $575ish IIRC for front and rear Yukon 4.56 gears with basic install kits from Randy's Ring & Pinion and had a local 4X4 shop install them. When my truck was apart while doing the lift. Labor was $550 for front and rear IIRC.

that was also several years ago. Standard shop rate has damn near doubled in the last decade

Absolutely. Right now it is going to be a summer project for me. I should have just re geared when my pinion went out because that is essentially a waisted 1k now lol. Right now my brothers gears are bad so he is going to be borrowing my money to fix it. Right now I just want to re gear to save my trans a little haha.
