Ok so my acceleration on my 02 f150 crewcab 5.4 has been having problems...
after inspecting the truck I notice an unplugged hose close to the pump, and theres a plastic hollow space behind the pump and real strong odor and leaking of gas, the hose seems to have been hooked up to something that might have been in the hollow space. Any ideas? could this be causing my problems..
Anyone have a diagram for my tank so I can tell exactly where that hose goes and if something is miising..

 

Sorry, don't know what it's called, but my mechanic broke mine when
he changed my gas tank and fuel pump. It's plastic I think and cost me another
$100. from the dealer to replace it. Maybe it's called a fuel regulator, but
I'm sure you will need a new one. Don't forget to check fuel tank straps
