Default Fuel system maintenance

Ok, so as some of you saw that helped me in the other thread, my old spark plugs had a lot of build up on them. Some of you suggested it was fuel related.

so my question is what really works to clean the entire fuel system? Is there any additives that actually work or is there a special machine that will clean the rails and injectors and everything else?

My personal favorite is B12 Chemtool made by Berryman's. The stuff is awesome... I put it in with 1/4 tank, and it makes a noticeable difference. I just had a guy at work thank me for telling him about it because his car ran so much better, and his vehicle is a 2014 Explorer.

Don't use too much or you'll trash your plugs again.

I read this post and Berrymanproducts.com ads started showing up on other web pages I visited. That is some powerful stuff.

Big fan of b12 here.
When idle jet would clog on 4wheeler from sitting, b12 in tank would get her idling smooth again.

Also.gets rid of pinging from carbon buildup...or deposits...from engines lacking oil control

its just solvent mixture.... Aliphatic, aromatic, ketone, alcohol

Section 3 – Composition / Information on Ingredients
Ingredient CAS Number Weight
Ethylbenzene 100-41-4 10-15%
Petroleum Distillates 64742-47-8 30-40%
n-Propanol 71-23-8 5-10%
Xylene (mixed isomers) 1330-20-7 40-50%

It's wonderful stuff... didn't realize it has Zylene in it. That stuff will clean anything.

once again you’re the man. My truck ran like new before but somehow it’s running even smoother after adding this stuff.

question though, it says to add every third fill up to maintain fuel system cleanliness. That’s sounds like a bit much. How often do you recommend adding it?

Every 6 months is best for me.
