98 f150, v6, have to jumper wire from pink/blk pigtail of inertia switch to get fuel pump to run, have tried new inertia switch, but that doesnt solve problem of having to jumper wire it....any ideas??? checked all fuses and relays and they are all good...???? im stumped...

 

Must have gotten a bad inertia. By bypassing it with a jumper tells you everything else is working. It's the inertia, button not pushed in, poor pinfit at connector. Power comes in and out at the inertia. Your there!
