Default Fuel issues

Over the weekend i had fun, my 97 f150 quit running, was going down the road and started to stall out, pulled into autozone and the truck died(had a scan done and the O2 sensors and EGR valve are on and that is it, but that is cause I have no cats currently). I have checked the fuses and the fuel shut off and they are all good. There is no fuel getting into the fuel rail (used the bleeder valve to check)so i replaced the sending unit and pump since i had a spare that was off a truck I turned into parts in march (truck ran good body was just to far gone to save). Well after a nice and fun filled Sunday and Monday of swapping parts the truck still does not run. I have gotten it to turn over with some starting fluid and run for a sec but dies after that, fuel is still not getting to the rail to keep the motor running. Not sure what else could be the problem.

The Fuel Injection Pressure Regulator could be bad.. Check if the vacuum hose is connected.

replaced the relay, and fuse. the vacuum line is still on its still not getting fuel up to the rail. Any thoughts on using a jumper to bypass the fuel filter ... i doubt it is clogged but that is one of the thoughts my friend had.

well to make a long story short ... was not a problem with any part of the fuel system ... i had a bad wire ..... all that work replacing the stuff just to find out that it was some wires need swapped.
well the plus side is that i have clean pipe, new fuel filter, Fuel Injection Pressure Regulator, kinda new fuel tank with sending unit and pump in it, a few new tools and a week off from work.

well seems I am still up ****'s creek was not the wire that i thought it was (still reran most of the wires), even tried bypassing the the inertia fuel shutoff switch still not getting anything to the pump. All the wires are good coming off my battery junction box and going into the PCM. Not sure if it is possible to wire right off the relay and bypass the rest of the stuff or not.

I'd disconnect the side of the fuel filter closest to the engine and turn the truck on,don't crank it,if gas comes out you knows the fuel is getting at least that far. If it comes out,I'd pull injectors and the fuel rail see if there are any issues there

there is no fuel coming out atm since it is not getting power (i have double checked both pumps and they are working), I think this truck has sat for a good bit .... found a bird nest behind each of the tail lights inside the bed fenders. so im not sure where the problem is, I did find out that the computer was replaced last year, so there might be more electrical problem then i know what to do with.
