Based on what you wrote here, get the correct injectors first.

Not sure about those numbers you posted. Purchased orange Bosch 19lb injectors 12 years ago for replacements and they've been fine.

Well it doesn't help with your injector situation, but your problem is most likely not your injectors. If you had a leaky injector yeah that could be causing you to be rich on a bank. The chances of you having two leaky injectors, one on each bank at the same time, seems a bit slim doesn't it? Injectors are ultra reliable.

Is the truck actually rich or are the fuel trims just negative?

Likely causes of being rich outside of what the computer can handle via O2 sensor feedback, are bad MAF, fuel leak into fuel pressure regulator, bad O2 sensor, etc you pretty much have to be more than 25% excess fuel injector open time before computer cannot handle it and it's actually rich

Misread the post. Looks like the PO got the wrong injectors in an attempt to fix a rich problem.

Where were you "putting in the year make model"?

https://injector-rehab.com/knowledge...injector-data/

Part Number lbs/hr cc /min

0-280-150-556 20 210.2

0-280-150-943 18.25 191.8

I put the year make an model on pretty much every car part website and for a 01 f150 4.6 it gives me the 280 150 943 but mine has the 280 150 556 in it now and i purchased the 280 150 943 already and the connectors wouldnt fit I just got a new maf sensor 02 sensors about a year ago catalytic converter about a year ago and I got a new fuel pressure regulator so what else could cause it to run rich on both banks and does anybody have a link to some good fuel injectors for my year model please? I really appreciate the response

What are the codes? Rich is a difficult problem.

You might be able to make the injector connectors fit with trimming but the link I provided shows that the flow rates are different. They're not the same, but it's not clear if the ones you had in there were correct. Maybe somebody forced the wrong ones in and made them work. The 943's would be leaner than the 556's. If you're really running rich with the 556's the 943's should help.

The more you tell about the truck the better the suggestions will be. Mileage, history, modifications, etc. Has it ever worked right for you? All you've shown is model, supposed engine, injectors, and year.

You bought it with 300,000 miles and it's had a "rich" problem since you bought it? P0172 and/or P0175? It's always had a rich problem since you've owned it. That's a bummer.

Both part numbers utilize EV1 connectors. I didn't see any EV6... your harness most likley uses EV6 connectors if they don't fit. That probably what you need to look for... Bosch 19 lb flow rate ~ w/EV6 connectors.... 4 hole pattern.

0-280-150-943 18.25 191.8 138 43.5 3 18.25 191.8 28.1 33.3 EV1..High.... Ford v6-3.8l, v8-4.6l

0-280-150-556 20 210.2 151.2 43.5 3 20 210.2 30.8 36.5 EV1........High......................... Ford

_______________

Are you running knock- off O2 sensors by chance ? There's quite a few of those around that will generate rich DTC's (codes). Go for a good name brand and quality merchant for those.
