Where is the fuel filter on a 97 f150?

On my 2001 it's on the drivers side, under the rear part of the cab, tucked in the inner side of the frame rail. It may be hiding above a crossmember.

I also have a 97 but I believe it's also on the drivers side in the rear I will have to go double check when I get a moment!
