Default Front end swap?

I dont care for the front of our '97 2wd F150. How hard would it be to swap the front of our '97 2wd to the front end of a '97-'98 4x4 or '99-'03 2wd/4x4 with fog lights? Would the front end of the '99-'03 4x4's be to tall for our 2wd?

What would I need to make any of the swaps work? Just the grille and bumper or is there more to it?

Also, would it be possible to replace the F150 badges on the fender and tail gate to the 2009 F150 badges? I know that there are holes behind the '97-'03 badges but Im not sure where the wholes are. I just like the new badges a lot more than the ones on the truck now. I might settle for the badges off of the '04-'08 F150's but inverted. Meaning the badge is plasti-dip black and the F150 letters are chrome.

Thanks for any advise.

There is a member that just did this conversion, sounded pretty much a direct bolt on swap but did mention something about swapping the brackets in the bumper.

You may want to see if you can find their thread and ask them how hard it was
