Any odd feelings to the truck since then or just the noise?

Have you changed your diff fluid yet? Not that I would think that low fluid would cause it but if its just a noise, its gonna be hard to fault trace even with a lift since it'll probably require load on the transfer case to replicate.

You didnt notice it before using 4wd and noticed it immediately after? Is it possible that one wheel has not fully disengaged? I'd put the truck on jackstands and use 4wd to see if you can hear the noise.

Sorry for asking so many questions man, but its an elimination game at this point.

My 2002 got stuck in 4wd a couple times... then it stopped working all together. Turns out the vacuum solenoid was going bad and not allowing it to disengage at first and then engage at all.

I also think that my LF wheel bearing is going bad. Weaksauce to replace, I'm sure.
