Default Front end issues

My front tires have worn really weird. Took it to Les Schwab for alignment and they said that running stock tires on a lift kit is throwing it off. I need to replace the ball joints anyways but of course the tires shop says I need to get bigger tires which is true. But a 4x4 shop said the complete opposite. I'm not sure who to believe. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

Bigger tires to make the truck look proportional yes but larger tires has nothing to do with the alignment in general. Either the lift or worn parts is causing the issue or they don't really now squat about what they are doing. What did the offroad shop say exactly.

In my opinion most les Schwabs are over priced and most employees don't know much about rigs. Not all of them are that way but there are 3 of them here in town and there is only 1 that I'd go to if I had to. Small tires are not the reason for the odd wear, I think they just want to sell you bigger tires.

exactly my thinking. I'm fixin to get new tires anyways. When I do, I'll replace the ball joints and see what that does.
