Correct Sir. Better wheels with more offset is preferable.

Improper caster adjustment cause rub on the sway bar. I had a similar issue a while back. Ended up going to Ford. Had the alignment done at 4 different shops and none of them were good enough to get the caster right.

And I had to crank quite a few full turns to get them to be just at what they are now. I noticed there's not a lot of threads left on the tbar bolt. Anyone in the same boat? I don't wanna be maxed out but I thought I remember reading that you could go up to24 1/4". Am I wrong? Oh and will this cause more rubbing? Passenger side rubs on the upper control arm a good deal now but I'm thinking its because they're worn out. I also got new tires, my old nitto trail grapplers 285/70/17 didn't rub at all and now I have Goodyear duratracs same size and they rub. Any input? PS. Taking the truck tomorrow morning for an alignment and front end replaced and new FOX shocks. Yeah dopewaffle I'm bragging
I had the same problem. If I remember right my passenger side was sagging too and I ended up getting the exact same measurement out of my torsion bars, around 23.5 inches. If I crank much more on them they'll be maxed out, so no more cranking for me. I am running 285 70 17 mud tires and don't rub at all. As a matter a fact, I don't even come close to rubbing on either side. I do have a 98 scab though, so there's a little difference between our trucks.
