Default Front End Grinding?

Ok, replaced upper and lower ball joints on both sides Friday. there is a squeaking/grinding noise coming from the left side. Any ideas what this could be. It gets worse when I turn left, goes away when I turn right.

Thanks in advance for the help

Maybe the wheel bearing? But not sure if that would cause the squeaking

ya sounds like your hub assembly is toast. good way to check is jack the wheel off the ground and grab the top of the tire and bottom of the tire and see if u can move it up and down. if there is any up and down then your hub is gone.

Push the top of tire and pull bottom and vice versa, if it moves alot its toast. I just replaced my wheel bearings on my 4x4 today. Is your truck 2wd?

Nah, the truck is 4x4. Still trying to figure this one out. Haven't had alot of time to look at it. It comes and goes and changes depending on which way I turn the wheel. It would just be weird that the hub assembly would go while i was doing my ball joints. There was no grinding before.

I would say you wheel bearing is gone, and it will only get worst.

pretty sure the fronts on a 4x4 you cant just replace the wheel bearings i believe you gotta replace the whole hub but dont quote me on that.

It's the whole hub assembly that needs to be replaced I just did one on a buddies truck it's pretty simple you just take the tire off then remove the caliper and rotor then there should be three bolts on the spindle that need to be removed
