Default Front end clunk

Has anyone ever experienced a clunking in their front end when there wheels are turned? Mine does it to the right and sometimes to the left. I'm guessing it's probably my Pitman arm or tie rods. If someone could shed some light on
This that would be awesome

2010 fx4 4in rough country 33 22 rims. Mine started after I lifted truck and got it back from the alignment shop. When I make a qwick jerk with the steering wheel or hit a bump it clunks. Iv torqued and re-torqued inspected and re inspected and found nothing. Bringing back in tomarrow. Its driving me crazzzzzy! At least I can duplicate the sound when needed.
Day 2, Brought it in and even the ford certified tech of 30 years cant pinpoint the sound.

Does it occur at all speeds?

Is it just one clunk? Or is clunking variable with speed?

My guess would be tie rods because those darn things wear out so poorly.
But it could also be your swaybar links making noise.

If you can make it clunk while standing still have someone turn the wheel for you and pinpoint.

The only time I really notice it is when like I'm backing out of the driveway and with my wheels turned to the right and when k go over the curb at the end of the driveway it does it once

Sounds like a bad CV popping, are you leveled?! It could be the upper control arm bottoming out on the frame. That would explain why the tech couldn't see it.

Ball joints are new as of two years ago and I check them last night and are still good. I am cranked a little but not much. I had to replace the passenger side hub last night and haven't really heard it since. The tie Rods and center link are all original that I know of. Probably wouldn't hurt to replace all that

It sounds like its comming from the opposite side of what ever direction im turning. Jerk the steering wheel left it will come from the right vice versa. Its very noticable.

Update, The machanic said the right front strut mount has a hailine crack in the rubber bushing. So Im going to bring it home and pull of the strut to have a peek.
Would you guys recommend replacing it with a qwick strut or bring it in to have spring compressed to replace part. The truck rides fine and thier is no leaks in the shocks??? 80000 miles. I dont thank strut mounts have a recommended milage replacement only if its visual wear and tear.
So I bought a qwick strut and replaced. Still have a dreadfull clunk sound. The truck store that I bought my lift from said bring it in monday so they can have a look. Thier specialty is installing lift kits and mods.
The owner said its probly something out of level and dont worry, they will fined the problem. I dont have high expectations tho. Im wounder if its something in my front diff?
