Front End Bad Squeek.
1999 F-150 4x4 5.4L
Everytime i turn my wheel, whether its left, or right. I get a pretty loud squeek from the left front wheel. Even if im hanging off the running board and jumping up and down, u can here it very faint. Also, not at high speeds. it seems to dissipate but also wind noise could be just covering it up. I looked under there. while a friend turn the wheel. and seemed to pinpoint the queek. I believe its coming from the cv boot. Now what are the measures of fixing this problem. Its not my ball joints, their quiet after putting my head closely to them, also greasing the crap out of them. Their fine. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm also not dumb.
What are the measures of fixing this problem. I don't want to take it to a shop, or Ford and pay 100 bucks in labor. I rather do it myself.

hey man almost garenteed its your ball joints...fords punk *** made greaseless ball joints, i assume to make more money by selling factory parts...but its a cheap fix...you can cut them open and hose em down with grease that will stop the sqeak for a little while
im not saying your wrong about the ball joints, but i managed to get my head in there while a buddy turned the wheel and its definitely coming from the cv boot on the tire end. or the shock. either or. not the ball joins.
seriously, can someone give me some advice, or options, i dont want this to turn into a major issue later on.

idk if it will work but.... this old timer showed me a trick to listen for noises... take a screw driver long enough to get on different parts and put ur ear up to it... and listen idk if it will work for this tho... i`ve only dont it on the engine... also sprar alllllll your bushing with a pb or sumthing just to rule them out
While you freind is turning the wheel, is your CV Joint rotating? If it is not rotating, I would look elsewhere. Most likely source is a bad shock, or the upper control arm bushings. Spray them with silicone, or WD-40. Do not get the silicone on your paint.
